1. Acceptance of These Terms

Your use of this website is conditional on your acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the site. Acceptance happens when you load a page, submit a form, place a call to the desk or sign a booking for a shoot, and it applies to every visit that follows until these terms are revised.

If you use the site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms. Should your authority end, tell the desk so that the records can be updated and a new contact can be named for any live project.

2. The Company Behind the Desk

The website and the interview desk are operated by UPFLIPCO LLC, a company working in computer systems design and related professional services. The cart is based in West Jordan and travels to founders who agree to be filmed. The full details of the company are set out below for any formal notice or legal communication.

Where these terms say the desk, the company or UPFLIPCO LLC, each phrase points to the same legal entity described in the box above.

3. Eligibility to Use the Site

This site is intended for adults who are able to enter into a binding agreement. By using it, you confirm that you meet the age of majority in your own jurisdiction and that you are not barred from using the site by any law that applies to you. A founder who appears in an interview must be old enough to grant permission for that appearance or must have a lawful guardian act on their behalf.

The desk does not direct its content at children and does not knowingly gather information from them. If a booking or a submission turns out to come from a person below the age of majority without proper consent, the desk may cancel the arrangement and remove the material as described in the privacy section.

4. Permitted Use of the Website

You may read every page on this site, share links to it, and quote short passages from it with a clear credit to UPFLIPCO LLC. You may use the contact form to reach the desk in good faith. You may rely on the published guides as a source of ideas for your own business, on the understanding that the results of one operator do not guarantee the results of another.

You may not present the work of the desk as your own. You may not copy a full feature, guide or review and republish it elsewhere, whether on a website, in a newsletter or inside a paid product. Fair reference is welcome, wholesale appropriation is not, and the line between the two is usually obvious to the person standing on it.

5. Prohibited Conduct

When you use this site, you agree not to misuse it. That means you will not attempt to break into any part of the system, probe it for weaknesses without written permission, or place a load on it that is designed to bring it down. You will not upload malicious code, harvest the email address printed on the site for bulk messaging, or use the contact form to send spam.

You will not impersonate the desk, a founder who appears on it, or any member of the team. You will not use the site to break the law, to threaten a person, or to infringe the rights of another. Where the desk detects conduct of this kind, it may block access, report the matter and cooperate with the authorities. A street interview desk depends on the goodwill of the people it films, and it will defend that goodwill.

6. Booking the Interview Desk

A booking begins with a discovery conversation and is confirmed in writing once the format, the date, the location and the fee are agreed. The six formats offered by the desk are founder interview features, street-level growth stories, operator playbook guides, revenue breakdown series, industry meetup coverage and editorial case reviews. Each format has its own timeline, and the desk will state the expected delivery window before you commit.

The desk may decline a booking for any lawful reason, including a conflict of interest or a lack of capacity in the schedule. Where a project is accepted, the written confirmation becomes part of these terms and governs the specific arrangement. If a confirmation and these terms ever conflict on a point, the confirmation controls for that project only.

7. Interview Appearances and Releases

Appearing in an interview is voluntary. Before a shoot, the desk explains how the material will be used and asks the founder to sign a release. The release confirms that the founder agrees to be filmed, that the desk may edit the footage, and that the desk may publish the finished piece and share excerpts for editorial promotion.

A founder keeps the right to ask for a factual correction and to request the removal of a passage before publication. Once a piece is live, a request to take it down is reviewed in good faith and honored where the desk is not bound by an agreement or a law to keep it available. The desk treats an interview as a trust, not as a transaction it can reverse at will.

8. Ownership of Website Content

All text, images, layout, code and design on this site belong to UPFLIPCO LLC or are used with permission. The street interview camera cart motif, the story ladder, the wins board footer and every other element of the design are part of the identity of the desk. The company name, the wordmark and the tagline are likewise protected.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of that material to you. You receive a limited right to read the site and to reference it fairly, and that right ends if you breach these terms. Any use beyond that limited right requires written permission from the company.

9. Submissions from Visitors

When you send a message through the contact form, you grant the desk permission to read it and to reply. That permission extends only to the purpose of handling your enquiry. It does not give the desk the right to publish your message as an article, and it does not transfer ownership of anything you wrote.

If you send an idea for a story, the desk may already be working on a similar subject and cannot promise to treat the idea as confidential. Please do not send trade secrets, private financial records or any material you would not want a stranger to read, because email is not a secure vault. The desk will handle what you send with care, but it cannot promise secrecy for unsolicited material.

11. Editorial Independence

The desk keeps editorial control over what it publishes. A founder who pays for a feature buys the craft of the desk, not the content of the verdict. The desk will not publish a false claim, will not hide a failure that a story needs to explain, and will not let a sponsor dictate the shape of a piece.

Where a piece is sponsored or supported by a partner, the desk will say so in the open. That disclosure protects the reader and it protects the reputation of the desk. A growth story is only worth telling if the people reading it can trust that it was told honestly.

12. Fees and Payment

Fees for the interview desk are quoted in writing before a booking is confirmed. The quote names the format, the scope, the number of shoot days and the delivery window, so there is no room for a surprise charge later. Unless the confirmation says otherwise, the fee covers the shoot, the edit and the agreed deliverables.

Payment terms are stated on the confirmation and are commonly split between a deposit and a balance due on delivery. Where a project runs beyond the agreed scope, the desk will discuss the extra work and the extra cost with you before it proceeds. The desk does not bill for a service that was never described to you.

13. Scheduling and Cancellation

A shoot is scheduled for a specific date and a specific corner, so the desk reserves that time for you alone. If you need to move a date, tell the desk as early as you can and it will help you find a new slot. Where a change is made well ahead of the shoot, the desk will normally rebook at no extra charge.

A late cancellation may carry a cost, because the cart, the crew and the travel have already been committed. The desk will state any cancellation terms in the written confirmation so that the rule is known before it matters. Where weather makes a shoot impossible, the desk treats the delay as a shared problem and rebooks without penalty.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website is provided as it is and as it is available. The desk works to keep it accurate and online, but it does not promise that every page will be error free, that every link will resolve, or that the site will never be interrupted. Reading a guide does not guarantee a result, because the outcome of any business decision depends on factors no writer can control.

To the fullest extent the law allows, the desk disclaims every warranty that is not stated in these terms, whether express or implied. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice, and nothing here should be treated as a substitute for a professional who knows your own situation.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, UPFLIPCO LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses that arise from your use of this site or from a reliance on its content. That includes lost profit, lost data, lost opportunity and any harm that flows from a business decision you made after reading a feature or a guide.

Where a liability cannot be excluded by law, the total responsibility of the desk for any claim connected to a paid project is limited to the fee you paid for that project. Where the claim is connected to the free use of this website, the responsibility of the desk is limited to the smallest amount the law permits. These limits do not apply where the law forbids them, such as in cases of fraud.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless UPFLIPCO LLC, its team and its providers from any claim that arises from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of the rights of another person. This obligation covers reasonable legal costs as well as any damages a court awards.

The desk will tell you promptly if such a claim begins, will give you the chance to respond, and will not settle a matter in a way that admits fault on your part without your agreement. A visitor who follows these terms honestly has nothing to fear from this section, which exists to address genuine misconduct.

17. Privacy and Data

The way the desk handles personal information is described in the privacy policy that sits alongside these terms. That policy explains what is collected, why it is collected and how long it is kept, and it forms part of the agreement between you and the company. By using the site, you confirm that you have read it.

In short, the desk gathers only what it needs, keeps it only as long as a task requires, and never sells it. Requests over your data are welcomed and handled as described in the policy. If the two documents ever seem to speak to the same subject in different ways, the privacy policy controls on matters of data protection.

18. Termination of Access

The desk may suspend or end your access to this site if you breach these terms, abuse the contact form, or act in a way that threatens the safety of the team or the people featured in its work. Where the situation allows, the desk will explain the reason and give you a chance to correct the problem.

Ending your access does not erase the parts of these terms that are meant to survive, such as the clauses on ownership, liability and governing law. Those sections continue to apply after you stop using the site, because they protect the desk and its subjects long after a single visit has ended.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which UPFLIPCO LLC operates, without regard to conflict of law rules. Where a dispute arises, both sides agree to first try to resolve it through honest conversation, because a disagreement about a project is usually settled faster by a call than by a court.

If a direct conversation does not resolve the matter, the parties agree to submit it to the courts with proper jurisdiction over the company, unless a law that protects you as a consumer gives you the right to bring the matter closer to home. Nothing in this section takes away a right that the law grants to you.

20. Changes to These Terms

The desk may revise these terms from time to time to reflect a new service, a new tool or a change in the law. When a revision is significant, the desk will post a clear notice on the site and update the effective date. The current version always lives at this address, so you can check it whenever you wish.

Continuing to use the site after a revision means the new version applies. If you do not accept a change, the remedy is simple and always the same: stop using the site. A company that edits its terms quietly, without notice, is not a company the desk wants to be, and it will not behave that way.

21. Contacting the Desk

Every question about these terms, every booking request and every concern can be sent to the desk at the details below. The team reads each message and answers it in person, and it is glad to explain a clause that reads as unclear.

Thank you for taking the time to read these terms. The desk exists to tell the story of how real companies grow, and it is grateful for the readers and the founders who make that work possible.
